After forty-three years of life, I’m still trying to make sense of it all....but always with a smile. What a weird and windy trek it’s been, filled with loads of unexpected twists and turns, leading well off the beaten path. The best part of the story is always the spectacular view that follows. The trick is to keep trusting the journey, even through the thick of it.
Big thanks to MP and JS! We cashed in the second part of your wedding gift last night and had a major sushi fest at home - YUM!!!! The funny thing is, they gave us six sets of chopsticks, clearly they didn't think just two people would put back this much food. Oh, but we did. It was lovely. :)
My hair is now layered again so the long stuff is in the back in this picture.
And I was so hyper about eating the sushi and getting good photos that I did make a bit of a mess before the first bite even was taken. Ah well, it was REALLY good stuff!

Latvija's come a long way since I was there 7 yrs ago. I don't think I saw sushi anywhere. That looks fantastic. Now you've got me craving sushi.
